![]() ![]() ![]() His work as an illustrator is inseparable from his work as a researcher, which has led him to publish numerous scientific articles in impact journals. In 2006 he won the Lanzendorf prize of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology for the best scientific illustration. Since then he has worked for numerous exhibitions in museums around the world, from the American Museum of Natural History in New York, to the National Museum of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam. Mauricio Antón (Bilbao, 1961) is a professional paleontological illustrator since 1988, when he contributed with his illustrations to the exhibition History of Life and the Earth of the National Museum of Natural Sciences-CSIC. ![]()
